Joshua James Hirt passed away this past March 20th, 2025. He was the love of my life. In recent weeks I heard him talk about his work in a way I never had. He said, "I love how these old 50s cars and trucks have taken on all these scratches and scrapes over time. I think, THAT is what makes them so compelling and beautiful to me. Like us, we take on scratches and scrapes, and I think we too only get MORE beautiful as we age. I EARNED those scars. I EARNED these wrinkles. These things makes us who we are and in turn more beautiful with time".
Josh was a very loving husband and friend to many. He was a true artist and will forever remain the inspiration of my life.
